Jim Wallis-- Then and Now
Over at Justin Taylor's blog, Between Two Worlds, he points out some discrepancies between Wallis' criticism of James Dobson's comments about Obama's view of the Bible and comments Wallis made in November.
As I mentioned yesterday, if a candidate is going to bring up an issue, he needs to be open to criticism on that same issue-- when that criticism is based on the facts. Dobson was not out of line in criticizing Obama's interpretation of the traditional view of the Bible. Obama's defense that Dobson was "making stuff up" is not a defense at all rather it's just a way of deflecting the criticism and making Dobson look like he is in the wrong.
I want to know when people will realize that the Democratic candidate has feet of clay.
