All Over. . .

Well, maybe. Clinton's set to bow out, Barack Obama will take the national stage as the presumptive nominee for the Democratic Party and then he will find himself between a rock and a hard place deciding what to do about Clinton. To V.P. or not V.P.-- that is the question.

On the Plus Side:

A Hillary V.P. would put a seasoned attack dog in the second slot. During campaigns, it is common for the V.P. to do the direct attacks on the opposition-- Hillary really knows how to do this.

Hillary supporters would join the campaign in droves and Hillary will bring with her many blue-collar Democrats and independents.

On the Negative Side:

Would Hillary really want a back seat? Does Barack Obama really want "Billary" for V.P.? Can anyone honestly say that Hillary won't carry negative baggage into the campaign?

If he doesn't pick Hillary for V.P. Obama risks alienating a lot of voters and throwing them to McCain--which he cannot afford to do.

To sum up: Rock--Barack Obama--Hard Place

Tomorrow: Quotes from Barack Obama about abortion.
