Clinton Did Not Say. . .

Okay, you may have read it but Clinton did not say the following:

“When I am President, I will devote my very first days in office to reversing the ideological, anti-science, anti-prevention policies that this administration has put into place. I will start with reversing the Mexico City Policy and will not rest until we once again protect women’s health, honor family privacy and restore fundamental constitutional freedoms to unlimited abortion.”

She did say:

And I want you to know that when I’m president, I will devote my very first days in office to reversing these ideological, anti-science, anti-prevention policies that this administration has put into place [applause], starting with the “Global Gag Rule” and going from there, and I will not rest until we once again protect women’s health, honor families’ privacy, and restore our fundamental Constitutional freedoms.

How do I know? I spent hours (!) transcribing the speech. I then had a friend who is an editor check the speech against the video posted at the Planned Parenthood website www.imoneinamillion.com

We must be accurate-- when we are not it only hurts us and our cause. Unborn children and their mothers deserve our best.
