Obama and Clinton-- What a Horse Race

Well, at least for now the race for the Democratic nomination seems to be neck and neck. Obama and Clinton released their fundraising numbers for this quarter and Obama has raised only 1 million less than Clinton. However, his campaign lists 100,000 individual donors to about half of that for Clinton.

Clinton may have name recognition but Obama has nearly closed that gap and is certainly giving her a run for her money. Regardless of who gets the nomination, you can be assured that the Democratic candidate for the White House will be a liberal masquerading as a moderate for the general election.

Both of these candidates have voting records and it will be hard for them to walk away from such records. The question is-- will everyone be paying attention to what they say or what they have done?
